Dear Brilla Families, Friends, and Staff,
Across Brilla Schools, this has been a time of growth, connection, and a deepening sense of community. As we approach the final weeks of the 2025–2026 school year, there is much to celebrate, not only in the accomplishments of our students, but also in the partnership of our families, the dedication of our staff, and the shared commitment that continues to strengthen our community.
That spirit is reflected in the stories of our multilingual learners, whose languages, cultures, and lived experiences enrich our classrooms each day. They engage academic content in a developing language with remarkable focus and perseverance, bringing valuable insight and perspective to their learning communities.
Our commitment to honoring students and families was also reflected in the opening of the Brilla Horizon Family Resource Center last month. It represents a vision that has guided Brilla since the beginning: schools thrive when they work alongside families and communities to support children holistically.
This month also marked an important milestone as we hosted the inaugural Brilla Schools Gala on May 19. Under the theme Rooted in Dignity. Growing in Brilliance., the evening brought together families, educators, alumni, partners, and supporters to celebrate the journey of Brilla Schools and the extraordinary potential of the students we serve.
The gala reflected our shared belief that every child deserves opportunity, challenge, joy, and a future filled with possibility. Through the generosity of our community and support raised through the silent auction benefiting the Cardinal Scholarship Fund, we continue creating pathways for Brilla graduates as they pursue their educational journeys beyond our classrooms.
As the school year comes to a close in June, I remain inspired by what this community continues to build together. Every student achievement, family partnership, and act of support reflects our collective belief that children flourish when surrounded by people who recognize their dignity and invest in their brilliance.
